Markus nodded at appropriate times, to be honest he still didn't really get it, but his mind was straying and he wanted mini math class to be done and over with. He did appreciate what Tobias was doing for him though, of course he did, no one had ever gone out of their way to help him before, so this was a nice change. But, the thing was, he just really, really hated math. "Thank you!" He told his friend as they finished the last problem together.

Markus smiled at that small comment even though he knew it was just a casual saying. Thoigh, he id wish it meant more though. When Tobias said that he was going out Markus just nodded, they'd spent pretty much the whole day together, he was probably getting tired of him by now. Actually, Markus wouldn't mind spending some time to himself either, he might be able to head down to the library and pick up a new book to read. He loved reading, it was like an adventure within itself.

Markus just laughed at that, not entirely believing any of this. Though, to make To ias feel better, he just agreed. He then walked over to his bed and pulled out his school assigned laptop and started surfing the net for some good fanfictions, preferably Harry Potter related, but he was alright with Doctor Who too. He half wondered what Tobias was up to, but he didn't want to be too nosy and come out and actually ask.

Since Tobias was out of the room, Markus decided to have a little jam session in the room. Oh, and by jam session, it was more like just singing really loudly to even louder music blasting through the room. Markus cranked up the volume on the stereo and hooked it up to his laptop so he could have a little Maroon 5 marathon. To start it all off, he play Moves Like Jagger, moving aside his back pack off the floor so that he could dance around wildly to the music.

"I'M AT A PAYPHONE TRYIN' TO CALL HOME ALL OF MY CHANGE I SPENT ON YOU..."" Markus called out to the middle of the room, his back turned towards the door. He was kneeling on the ground singing to some invisable person, singing to them like he was having a conversation. He continued on with the song until it got to the rap, he wasn't too great at rapping, but he tried anyways. His attempt was cute to say the least, however, it was not at all good.

Markus jumped a little as he realized someone was watching him. Not just anyone either, it was Tobias. Markus let a small smile work onto his face, slightly embarressed, "Haha, thanks. You're back pretty quick." He observed aloud as he watched Tobias put away his guitar, indicating that he was done with it for the day.

Markus's eyes narrowed at the name Jake, he'd never like Jake too much, but now he had a legitimate reason to hate him. He knew it was a bad thing to hate people, but this kid was really getting on his nerves and he hated what Jake was doing to Tobias.

Markus looked around the room figuring out what to do. Well, first off, he went over to shut off the blaring music. He then sat down on his bed, stowing his laptop away in a blue case. "We could play a game." He suggested, thinking along the lines of truth or dare. But, then again, that game was more fun with a bigger group of people.

Upon hearing this, Markus got super excited, noting the perks of being roomies with one of the most popular guys in school. "This'll be so awesome!" He exclaimed while doing a little victory dance. He then thought of what he should bring, realizing he didn't really have too much to share with everyone. He though for a second and then decided to bring his laptop and stereo system, as if there was one thing that Markus knew, that would definately be a good taste for music, outside of the top 40's and past top songs.

"I'm set!" Markus replied with a slight cheer as he gathered his items in a box for easy transport. He then pulled at his shirt a little, adjusting his school tie of purple and black so that it was straight down his chest. He quickly ran his fingers across his collar, checking to make sure it wasn't standing straight up or something. He truely looked like a preppy handsome school boy. Once he finished his quick self examination, he then pushed open the door and started off down the hall a little before remembering to wait for his buddy.

Markus wandered the halls in awe, never having actually gone to one of Tobias' parties before. He wandered past the people towards the common room of the floor and saw that a few people had already decorated it in random decor. He walked over to the corner of the room with a plug and plugged in his speakers, quickly hooking it up to his laptop and it started playing some cool jams which most everyone enjoyed.
