Adam isn't your typical teenage boy. And that's because well, he had been born a girl. AS he had grown up, Adam had always dressed in his older brother's hand-me-downs, although his parents had more than enough money to get him clothes. No, he was more than happy with his brother's old, worn down boy clothing. He had never really connected the whole, dressing like a boy thing together with how he felt. He had always been told he was simply a tomboy, that he'd grow out of it. He'd eventually learn that he should play with dolls, and love shopping, and makeup. Not mud pits and army men, fire and hockey. He grew up with a couple other people like him; but not exactly. His best friend Taylor, was a tomboy. She always wore more guy-like clothing, liked the mud too, and played field hockey with him. And, his friend Tyler was like that too. More tomboyish than the rest. But as puberty hit, Adam noticed that, although they kept some tomboyish qualities, they were comfortable in dresses on occasions, and wearing makeup, talking about shoes and such. He wasn't. He had been shopping in the guys section for god knows how long. By the time Adam was 14, he had discovered he was transgender. Finally finding who he was, he started to become more masculine. As he had always had shorter hair, he finally chopped it all off, and decided to dye it blue. Adam had gotten some piercings over time (them having no real relation to his transition) but he found them more.... masculine if you will. His family found out when he was 15, and although his brother was okay with it, and even told him that he had 'Called it' at a young age, His mother and father were most definitely not okay with it. They shunned him, fought with him about it, called him a freak and an attention seeker. They tried to stop it, threatening to pull him out of school, burn all his clothes and replace them with 'a proper ladies closet' if he kept it up. But Adam wouldn't have it. He wouldn't budge. Finally, through the middle of his Sophomore year, having just turned 16, Adam managed to convince his parents to send him to a boarding school in britain, so he could get away from their constant fights. They agreed to it. Adam, having Taylor hack into the system, changed his birth name to his prefered name, and gender to male. One that was done, Adam felt relieved. Finally people wouldn't question it, or make snarky comments to him. He planned out what to do, in order to hide his true gender, and thought he had made a full proof plan. But sadly, all single rooms were full, so he'd have a roommate. But alas, this cunning boy made yet another plan. Just seem like a super private person. It seemed like a perfect plan.
Adam could be described at a very docile person. He has a very level head, and is seemingly calm, most of the time. He is very good at keeping his cool, and maintaining good composure. But, as everyone, he gets mad. He easily gets annoyed, if someone keeps on pestering him. His release though, is hockey. Although being born a girl, and having what seems like a thin frame, Adam has built up a rather impressive amount of muscle and strength. But what helps him in sports, is his speed. His light frame does give him an advantage when sprinting, or trying to be agile on the field. Although he can outrun some, he can't overpower many players, but packs a mean hit when he tries to score a goal. Adam has rather pale skin, due to living in Canada all his life, in the northern regions. He stands at only 5"7, tall for his age (being a girl) But short compared to other guys. He has been on Testosterone 3 months now, going on 4, and although it has shown signs that it's working, it hasn't changed him completely. He managed to start it though a program for transgendered people who have unsupportive parents, to get the HRT they need, through the program. He managed to get some before he started, so he'd pass more. His jawline has changed slightly, giving him a more boyish look, he's growing a lot more, gaining muscle more, and his voice is dropping. He is absolutely loving the changes, and is finally feeling good about himself. Adam is normally found wearing skinny jeans, in colors like light blue, gray, black and white. His shirts are sometimes more casual, band shirts and shirts from TV shows. Or sometimes button up plaid ones, for nicer occasions. He wears a gray and black striped jackets over them a lot, because weather in both Canada and Britain is rather chilly. He has grown rather fond of ties and scarves, because his Grandma in America likes sending them to him. Adam always wears the same pair of gray vans, seeing as his feet are as flat as a plank x) Personality wise adam is reserved, even when not trying to hide his true gender. He is very content with cuddling under the covers, reading a good book or watching a Harry potter marathon. He can be rather defensive at times, and freak out if things don't go as planned, and he doesn't like letting down others. If he does hang out with friends, or make some, its usually only one or two. He doesn't do well in crowds. Adam is usually very optimistic, and very cheerful once you get to know him. His smile really does brighten up the room. He enjoys cuddling with his significant other, drinking tea, going on his laptop, reading, making cookies and playing hockey.
